Why I tested Secrets AI

First of all, I just want to say… I really spent a lot of time on this review, took a ton of screenshots, etc., so please take the time to read through everything. I’d really appreciate it!

Alright, let’s get into it… Secrets AI made a pretty good first impression on me for one simple reason: the platform fully embraces its sexy side without throwing ultra-NSFW content in your face within the first few seconds.

And personally, I really liked this approach. The characters are attractive, the outfits can be very revealing, and you immediately understand what kind of world you’re stepping into. Yet the interface still feels fairly elegant. It feels more like a platform built around very sexy AI companions than an adult content generator disguised as an AI Girlfriend. What I found quite funny is that, once I dug a little deeper, I discovered that Secrets AI was actually much less innocent than it initially seemed. More intense chats, NSFW images, Adult videos, voice calls, character creation, Personas, scenarios, multiple AI models… there is a huge amount hidden behind this relatively clean interface. So I wanted to see whether Secrets AI was simply nice to look at or whether it could actually compete with the best AI Girlfriends I’ve tested.

A sexy interface without going straight into NSFW territory

This is probably the first thing I noticed about Secrets AI.
The homepage uses a lot of black, purple and pink, with an interface that feels quite premium. The characters are obviously highly sexualized, but I never had the feeling that I had just landed on a porn site.
And after testing quite a few platforms like this, that’s honestly refreshing.

The menu on the left gives you immediate access to the main features: creation, character discovery, chats, generation, customization, scenarios and Personas. Despite the number of features available, the whole thing remains pretty easy to understand.
Secrets AI works directly in your browser and ultimately feels more like a large social app built around AI companions than a simple chatbot.
As you scroll further through the character catalog, however, things gradually become more adult.

Some previews clearly go much further, with explicit content directly blurred or hidden within the interface.
And that’s exactly where I think Secrets AI’s positioning becomes interesting.
The NSFW content is definitely there, but it isn’t forced on you everywhere. You can easily stay within a sexy and suggestive experience or go much further whenever you feel like it. It might sound like a small difference, but in everyday use I find it much more enjoyable.

Lots of characters, but a fairly distinctive aesthetic

Secrets AI already has a pretty large character library.
You’ll mainly find realistic-looking women with different ages, styles and backgrounds, but the overall aesthetic is still heavily focused on young, glamorous and conventionally attractive characters.
That’s not necessarily a problem considering the positioning of the platform, but someone looking for a huge variety of body types or genuinely unusual profiles might find the selection a little less diverse than it initially appears.
There are also Anime characters.

 

You can filter the selection by gender, style and popularity. Personally, I definitely prefer the realistic characters, but the quality of the Anime illustrations is pretty good and, more importantly, it allows Secrets AI to appeal to two quite different audiences. You also get the choice between realistic and Anime when creating your own character. And honestly, I think it’s mostly because I’m just not really into anime in general…

Creating your AI Girlfriend on Secrets AI

Obviously, I didn’t just want to use the default characters.
So I tested the creation system.

The first step lets you choose between a female or male character and then between a realistic or Anime style.
I chose Female and Realistic.
What I like here is that Secrets AI doesn’t immediately throw you onto a massive page with fifty confusing sliders. Character creation moves forward progressively, one step at a time.

You start by defining things like the general appearance, background and skin tone.
Several options are presented visually, and Secrets AI also gives you a custom option if none of the presets match exactly what you’re looking for.
The same goes for the hair.

Short, medium-length, long, straight, wavy, curly, bob, braided, with bangs… The selection is already pretty broad without becoming completely ridiculous.
And once again, the Custom option lets you go beyond the presets.

You can then choose the eye color from several options or enter something custom.
The creation process isn’t limited to physical appearance either. Secrets AI then lets you define information about the character, followed by her personality, backstory and other elements designed to influence how she behaves in conversations.
This is important because a pretty picture isn’t enough to create a good AI Girlfriend.
I’d much rather have a character who looks slightly less perfect but is capable of maintaining a consistent personality throughout the chat.

Six different voices for your character

One of the final steps I came across was voice selection. And honestly, I think this is pretty crazy in terms of customization!

Secrets AI offered me six different voices, with the ability to listen to each one before making my choice.
It’s well thought out. A voice might seem completely secondary when you’re only using text messages, but Secrets AI actually offers real voice calls. That means the voice you choose during character creation becomes much more important later on.
I also like the fact that voice is genuinely part of the character creation process rather than being hidden somewhere in a settings menu after everything else is finished.

I mainly tested Julia

For the rest of my test, I mainly used Julia.

I really like the way profiles are presented.
You get a large character image, her name, age, location and a short description that immediately gives you an idea of her personality.
But more importantly, you can launch several different types of interactions directly from the same profile: start a new chat, generate content, make a call or even start a group chat depending on your subscription. It immediately makes Julia feel like the center of the experience.
I’m not jumping from a chatbot to a completely disconnected image generator and then to another app for voice features. Everything revolves around the same character.
And in terms of immersion, that’s clearly better.

The chat is more complete than it first appears

Once inside the conversation, Secrets AI keeps the same visual identity.

The chat remains at the center while several features appear directly around the character: calls, image generation, videos, memories and settings.
You can even check what your character has remembered.
Secrets AI actually uses a memory system designed to retain certain important details between conversations.
In my conversations, Julia did a good job of keeping track of the discussion and maintaining the same tone. I’m not going to pretend I tested her memory for three weeks when I didn’t, though. That’s an important distinction. During a normal session, continuity is good and the character doesn’t feel like she’s starting from scratch with every message. To properly judge long-term memory, I’d need to deliberately use the same character over several days or weeks.

Multiple AI models and control over intensity

This is where Secrets AI starts getting really interesting: when you open the chat model settings.

During my test, S3 mode was selected by default, and Secrets AI also displayed several more advanced or experimental models.
Each model seems to prioritize a slightly different balance between speed, intelligence and conversational style.
But what really caught my attention was right at the bottom of the screen: the intensity level.
You can genuinely influence where the conversation goes. And I really like that idea.
I’d much rather decide the pace myself than have an AI Girlfriend turn every “hello” into a sexual scene or, on the opposite end of the spectrum, have a model panic at the slightest suggestive comment. Secrets AI works much more progressively.
The flirting can start slowly and become more intense depending on how you talk and which mode you select.

The NSFW chat is more subtle than the images and videos

There’s an important distinction to make when talking about the NSFW side of Secrets AI.
The media can go pretty far. The chat itself seemed much more interested in building tension. And personally, I don’t mind that at all. In fact, it fits perfectly with the sexy approach I mentioned at the beginning of this review. Instead of immediately jumping into ultra-explicit replies, Julia can stay within flirting, suggestive comments and roleplay before gradually escalating the situation. It makes the conversation feel much more believable. Once you switch to visual generation, however, Secrets AI embraces its adult side much more openly.

Photos can be sent directly inside the conversation

During my conversation with Julia, an image was generated directly based on the scene we were talking about. Honestly, being able to do this is just incredible!
And it makes a huge difference to the experience. I find it much more immersive when the character actually “sends” you a photo inside the conversation instead of forcing you to leave the chat, open an image generator, select Julia again and manually recreate the entire situation.
Secrets AI can use the context of the conversation to generate an image that matches what’s happening.
That’s exactly the kind of feature that turns a simple chatbot into a proper AI companion experience.

The Generation Studio goes much further

If you want more control, Secrets AI also has a proper Generation Studio.

And this is where it starts feeling much closer to a dedicated AI image generator. You can choose a generation model and then describe exactly what you want to create. Advanced mode places more emphasis on realism and prompt accuracy. You can also use reference images directly from this interface, and a Group mode was visible in beta during my test. I really like this separation. For a quick photo related to the conversation, I stay inside the chat. When I want to create something much more specific, I open the studio. It makes sense and prevents the chat interface from becoming unnecessarily complicated.

Image formats, resolutions and costs

The settings also let you choose the image format. I had the following options: 1:1 square, 16:9 landscape, 9:16 portrait, 4:3 standard and 3:4 portrait.
For resolution, my interface showed 1.5K for 50 Moments and 2K for 100 Moments. A 4K option was also displayed as “Coming Soon” on this screen. So the Moments system starts becoming important as soon as you generate a lot of content. A basic generation doesn’t cost much, but creating dozens of high-resolution images can quickly eat into your monthly allowance. That said, I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the realistic images.
Faces are generally clean, the results look quite natural and Secrets AI does a pretty good job of maintaining the character’s visual identity. Like virtually every AI generator, you can still occasionally see small inconsistencies with complex poses or certain anatomical details, but the overall quality is very good.

Video generation is one of Secrets AI’s biggest strengths

This is probably the feature that surprised me the most.
Secrets AI has a proper video generation system with several different models.

During my test, I had access to three different modes. Adult mode is specifically designed to support adult content.
Advanced mode focuses more on quality and prompt accuracy and also supports audio. An older Standard model was still available as well.
Once again, you can really see the difference between Secrets AI’s overall positioning and what the platform is actually capable of. The homepage stays relatively sexy.
But underneath that, Secrets AI literally has a video generation mode called “Adult”. So this definitely isn’t a platform trying to block all NSFW content.

The video settings are impressive for an AI Girlfriend platform

Advanced video mode gives you access to quite a few settings. You can choose between Quality and Fast modes.
During my test, the displayed resolutions ranged from 480p to 720p, 1080p and even 4K with certain configurations. The video duration could also be adjusted depending on the model. That’s pretty impressive for a platform whose main purpose is still supposed to be building a relationship with an AI character.
Secrets AI clearly didn’t just add a “Generate Video” button so it could tick another box on the feature list.

You can directly animate an image of your character

The most natural way to use it is by starting from an image you’ve already generated. For example, I could take Julia and describe the movement I wanted: walking, smiling, hair movement or any other kind of animation. Secrets AI then uses the image as the starting point to create a short video. With the Adult mode shown during my test, one generation cost 600 Moments. And this is where the credit system really starts to matter (which I think is understandable because video generation requires a lot of “Tokens” from AI models). A video consumes considerably more than a simple image. So I see video generation as a premium feature to use when I actually have a good idea in mind rather than something I’d launch over and over again just for the sake of it.

Voice calls add another dimension to the experience

Secrets AI also lets you call your character directly.
Calls work as a continuation of your conversation rather than as a completely separate feature.
That’s important because your character can maintain the context of the chat.
The cost is something to keep in mind, though: calls also use Moments.
So once again, Secrets AI is very generous in terms of features, but users who want to use images, videos and long voice conversations every day will have to keep a closer eye on their credits than someone who mainly uses text chat.

Personas, memories and group chats

Secrets AI goes beyond the traditional one-on-one AI Girlfriend conversation.
Personas allow you to define who you are within the story.
Instead of letting the character imagine your identity from scratch, you can give yourself a personality, context and background.
For roleplay, that’s really interesting. You could have a completely different Persona depending on the scenario you want to play.
Secrets AI also offers group chats that let you bring multiple companions into the same conversation.
These advanced features are mainly tied to the Ultimate plan.
It’s interesting, but I wouldn’t necessarily subscribe to Ultimate just for this if you mainly plan on talking to a single character.

Scenarios add another layer to roleplay

I also noticed an entire section dedicated to scenarios in the main menu.
The idea is to start a conversation inside an already-defined situation rather than having to build the entire context yourself.
It’s particularly useful when you want to roleplay but don’t necessarily know how to start the conversation.
I didn’t explore every scenario deeply enough to compare them properly, so I’d rather not give this feature a specific score.
But between Personas, scenarios, the different AI models and the intensity setting, Secrets AI clearly gives roleplay fans a lot of tools to work with.

Secrets AI even has a Discord community

The platform also promotes its Discord server directly within the interface.
During my test, Secrets AI offered 100 free Moments for connecting your account to its Discord server.
It’s obviously not an essential feature, but I think it’s pretty smart.
It lets you keep track of new features, ask for help, see other users’ creations and understand some of the settings more quickly.
Considering how quickly Secrets AI adds new chat, image and video models, having an active community around the product makes a lot of sense.

Is Secrets AI free?

Yes, there is a free option. New accounts get a limited number of daily messages, and Secrets AI also gives you a few starting Moments so you can try some of the features. In fact, my interface showed 200 Moments in my account when I started testing. That’s enough to explore the platform and see whether you enjoy the chat experience. However, if you actually want to use the advanced features and use Secrets AI regularly, the Premium subscription quickly starts making more sense.

How much does Secrets AI cost?

The pricing deserves a proper explanation because Secrets AI uses two systems at the same time: subscriptions and Moments.

During my test, Secrets AI showed me a Premium promotion at $0.30 per day, or $109.99 billed annually.
The screen showed a 77% discount. I’m deliberately saying “during my test” because Secrets AI seems to change its promotions. The price you see when reading this review may therefore be different. The Premium plan included unlimited messages, image and video generation, 8,000 Moments every month and access to Premium AI models.
Secrets AI also offers an Ultimate plan with more Moments and additional features such as Personas and group chats.
For someone who mainly wants to chat with an AI Girlfriend and occasionally generate content, Premium seems more than enough to me.
Ultimate is mainly interesting for heavier users.

The real price mostly depends on how many Moments you use

This is probably the most important thing to understand before paying. Standard messages are unlimited with Premium.
But some advanced features use Moments. During my test, for example, I saw certain image generations costing 50 Moments, a 2K image costing 100 Moments on the screen I tested and Adult video generation costing 600 Moments. Voice calls also consume Moments. So two users with exactly the same subscription can ultimately have very different experiences. If you spend most of your time chatting with Julia and ask for a few photos every now and then, the 8,000 monthly Moments already give you a comfortable allowance. If you’re constantly generating videos and making lots of calls, you’re going to feel the limit much more quickly. That’s probably my biggest criticism of Secrets AI.
I like having all these features in one place, but obviously I’d love to be able to use them even more without having to think about the counter.

Pay attention to how Moments renew as well

Another interesting detail: the Moments included with your subscription work as a monthly allowance. So you shouldn’t necessarily think of them as a balance that you’re going to accumulate indefinitely over several months. Moments purchased separately and those included with subscriptions don’t follow exactly the same rules. This is exactly the kind of detail I’d recommend checking before you start buying large amounts of additional credits.

Billing remains discreet

This is an important point for a platform like this. On the payment screen I tested, Secrets AI stated that the charge would appear discreetly under the name “S LABS INC”. So you shouldn’t see “SECRETS AI GIRLFRIEND” written in huge letters on your bank statement. It’s a small touch, but considering the kind of service we’re talking about, I think it’s pretty relevant — actually, I’d say it’s super important because let’s be honest… seeing “Girlfriend AI” on your bank statement wouldn’t exactly be ideal…

What about conversation privacy?

This is something I prefer to be precise about. I wouldn’t describe Secrets AI as a completely anonymous or “zero-log” platform.
The platform obviously has security measures in place and your conversations aren’t publicly visible, but Secrets AI states in its privacy policy that text interactions may be stored and processed by the service. For calls, voice audio is said to be deleted after transcription, while the text transcription may be retained so that the character can remember the conversation. So my rule is exactly the same as with almost every AI Girlfriend platform: I’m happy to tell the character plenty of things, but I’d never share extremely sensitive information such as passwords, banking details or personal documents.
That’s much more reasonable than simply assuming that an intimate conversation with an AI is automatically completely anonymous.

Cancellation and refunds

Secrets AI allows you to cancel your subscription. Premium access then remains active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
However, you shouldn’t automatically expect a prorated refund simply because you cancel halfway through the month or year. Moments purchased separately are also generally considered final. Users located in the European Union or United Kingdom still benefit from the applicable legal rights, including the withdrawal period that may apply to certain new subscriptions.

What I really liked about Secrets AI

The first thing is still its positioning. Sexy without constantly being vulgar. It might sound like a small detail, but it immediately gives Secrets AI a different personality. I also really liked the way all of its features revolve around the same character. I can talk to Julia, receive a photo, generate another one, animate it, switch AI models or move to a call without ever feeling like I’m using five completely separate tools. The generation side is impressive too. Formats, resolutions, different models, references, Adult video, Advanced video, audio, Quality or Fast modes… Secrets AI gives you a huge amount of control for an AI Girlfriend platform. And finally, the chat has enough depth that the whole product doesn’t feel like it’s built entirely around pretty images.

What I liked less

The Moments system obviously comes first.
It isn’t particularly annoying for normal use, but videos and calls can quickly increase your consumption.
Customization is also good without being completely unlimited. Secrets AI offers a lot of choices, but some specialized platforms still provide even more precise physical customization options.
I also find the catalog a little visually homogeneous. There is diversity, but the majority of profiles still lean toward the same sexy and glamorous beauty standard. Finally, I came across a few places where French and English were mixed together within the interface.
It’s absolutely not a dealbreaker, but the translation isn’t completely consistent everywhere yet.

Is Secrets AI really NSFW?

Yes.
But I think reducing Secrets AI to “an NSFW site” would completely miss the point.
That’s actually what I liked about it. You can start by simply talking to an attractive character, getting to know her, gradually flirting and keeping things relatively soft. You can then increase the intensity.
And when you actually want to move into adult content, the image generation and especially the Adult video mode clearly show that Secrets AI can go much further.
This progression feels much more natural to me than platforms where the AI is trying to sleep with you after four messages.

Who do I recommend Secrets AI to?

I’d mainly recommend Secrets AI to someone looking for a very complete experience.
If all you want is to talk to a chatbot, you probably don’t need all these features.
If your only goal is generating thousands of images, a specialized generator might be more economical.
But if you want an AI Girlfriend, chat, memory, roleplay, voice, calls, images, videos and adult content all in the same place, Secrets AI becomes really interesting.
That’s exactly where its strength lies.
And I think Secrets AI is particularly well suited to users who enjoy a sexy and immersive experience without necessarily wanting everything to become NSFW within the first few seconds.

My final opinion on Secrets AI

Secrets AI genuinely surprised me.
At first, what really grabbed me was the interface.
I found it refreshing to have a platform this sexy without immediately falling into something ultra-explicit.
Then I started opening the different menus.
Character creation, personalities, voices, memory, multiple chat models, intensity settings, Personas, calls, image generation, advanced video generation, Adult mode…
And I realized that Secrets AI is actually much more complete than its homepage initially suggests.
The Moments system is definitely the main thing I’d keep an eye on, especially if your goal is to generate a lot of videos.
Character diversity could also be even better.
But apart from that, I found the overall experience really coherent.
What Secrets AI does particularly well is offer several different levels of experience.
You can have a relatively romantic relationship.
You can simply flirt.
You can roleplay.
You can generate sexy photos.
And when you want something much more explicit, the tools are there as well.
That’s exactly the kind of freedom I like to see in an AI Girlfriend platform.
