Those are official claims, not a result I can generalize to every bot. Real memory depends on the model, permanent character information and the amount of context already occupied by the scenario.
The chat interface stays out of the way
The conversation screen is deliberately simple: an introduction, a text field and the character above it. I like that restraint. I would rather keep the deeper controls in character cards and settings than place too many buttons around every reply. Without signing in, CrushOn also warns that it cannot safely retain chat history.
Models, memory cards, group chat and voice
Model choice has become one of CrushOn AI’s more distinctive features. The official site currently lists free, Pro and Ultra families and allows users to switch during a conversation. That can change reply length, writing style and coherence without rebuilding the character.
What CrushOn currently advertises for 2026: more than ten models, up to 24K of context on Ultra, multi-character group chat, World Cards for shared universes and more than forty voice presets across nine languages.
I treat these as advertised features because I did not test every Ultra model or every paid plan. Names and availability can also change quickly.
Profile cards define who I am inside a scenario. Pinned memories keep important facts in context, but they also consume context themselves. For a long story, I would retain only genuinely useful information: the relationship, a major event, the current goal and important world rules.
Creating a custom character
CrushOn is not limited to public bots. Its creator lets users define a name, appearance, personality, scenario, introduction and example dialogue. It feels closer to writing roleplay than merely customizing an avatar.
A strong card gives the model direction without filling every available token. I prefer a character with a few contradictions, a clear goal and a recognizable speaking style over a huge biography. The more permanent information the prompt consumes, the less context remains for the actual conversation.
