I tested Fantasy.ai on September 23, 2026. I first chatted with Eva, a 22-year-old Swedish character, then created my own realistic redhead called Edna. My first impression was good: the site felt fast, the photos looked unusually convincing, and the character builder gave me plenty of useful choices.
The design made me smile too. It is very white, with large faded portraits framing the homepage. It reminds me of an old adult website rebuilt with a cleaner interface. That is slightly kitsch, but I actually like how easy it is to read.
Worth noting: Fantasy.ai is the same platform as DreamGF.ai.
My 30-second verdict
- What I liked most: realistic images, the short video when a chat opens, and the detailed creator.
- Best for: adults who want a realistic AI girlfriend they can customize without a complicated setup.
- Main limitation: I could not find a dedicated roleplay mode, despite roleplay being advertised on the official site.
- Free access: my new account included enough credits to create Edna and generate her first picture.
- Price seen: $7.99 for the first monthly payment or $69.99 for the first year, equivalent to $5.83/month, with higher renewal prices.
- Rating: 9/10, the default score for a newly created review on this site.
I do not have a Fantasy.ai affiliate link yet. The buttons in this review therefore lead to the official website without earning me a commission. My opinion is based on my session and screenshots; I rechecked the changing prices, policies and product claims on September 23, 2026.

My first chat with Eva
I started with Eva, a 22-year-old Swedish character. Her pictures immediately stood out to me. The face, lighting and outfits looked realistic, and she remained recognisable across the gallery. Pages and replies also loaded quickly during my session.
The pleasant surprise was the small video that played as soon as I opened the chat. It is not a major technical breakthrough, but it makes the first encounter feel less static. I do not see that on every AI companion platform.

Fast, suggestive chat with voice elements
Eva became suggestive quickly. When I mentioned a spa, she developed the scene and proposed a more adventurous alternative. Her replies stayed connected to what I had written, and the voice messages added some presence. I did not chat long enough to claim that her memory remains reliable over several days.

I also separate voice messages from video and phone calls. The homepage promotes text, pictures, video, voice and calls. My own test confirms chat, voice messages, an opening video and generated images; I did not complete a long phone-call test.
Creating Edna was the best part of my test
The builder shows nine steps. I could choose realistic or anime, then work through ethnicity, age, body, breasts, hair, face, clothes, voice and personality. Some fields are required while others can be skipped.

Age options range from a clearly labelled 18+ choice to older characters. The appearance categories are fairly stereotyped in both labels and preview images, but they make the expected visual result easy to understand.

Clothes and voice are more than minor extras
I especially liked the clothing screen. It goes beyond three revealing outfits: I saw gamer, business, wedding, punk, sports, casual, dresses, latex and several other styles. That gives a new character an immediate visual identity.

The voice selection was another strong point. I could preview voices marked Italian, German, French, Spanish, English and Russian. That variety is clearly present, although a voice label alone does not prove that every later conversation will be perfectly localised.

I could define the relationship, not just the body
The last step mattered most to me. I could choose dynamics such as Dating, Girlfriend or Childhood Friend, alongside more explicit adult archetypes. I love being able to decide whether the opening feels like a date or a reunion with someone I have known for years. Context like this can shape a chat more than another physical slider.

I created a realistic, fit redhead with braids, a fashionista outfit and the Childhood Friend relationship. The summary page let me check those decisions before generating the picture or starting the conversation.

The result was Edna. I like the final image: she looks realistic and the red hair remained central to the design. The generated picture does not copy every preview tile exactly, which is normal, but it follows the overall brief well.

Free credits and image generation
My account showed 50 credits at the beginning. I treat that as an observed signup balance, not a permanent promise. In this session it was enough to create Edna and generate her first image, which is a useful free introduction to the builder.
The photo request screen offered clothed, lingerie/swimwear and nude output. The important point is that the adult direction is chosen before generation. Credits become the practical limit when I want more images, voice or other media.
Fantasy.ai’s Membership Policy lists indicative token costs for character creation, pictures and voice. However, the service’s own pages do not agree on every allowance and rate. I would trust the live cost shown beside an action over an older policy table.
Roleplay is advertised, but I found no dedicated mode
I did not see a roleplay section or a catalogue of scenarios during my test. Childhood Friend gives the character a relationship premise, and Eva can extend an imagined situation within normal chat. To me, that is not the same as a structured roleplay mode.
The official girlfriend page says users can roleplay different scenarios. My honest conclusion is therefore narrow: Fantasy.ai advertises roleplay, but I did not find a separate roleplay feature in the interface I tested. It may exist in a less obvious form or arrive later.
Fantasy.ai pricing in September 2026
The headline prices are introductory offers. The official pricing policy lists higher recurring charges, so I would compare the first payment with the following renewal rather than relying on the large monthly equivalent alone.

| Plan | First payment observed | Official stated renewal |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $7.99 | $14.99/month |
| 7-day Premium trial | $5.99 | $14.99/month if not cancelled |
| Three months | $29.97, equivalent to $9.99/month | $38/quarter |
| Annual | $69.99, equivalent to $5.83/month | $155.88/year |
My checkout screenshot says 100 monthly tokens, while the pricing policy I checked the same day says 200. That inconsistency matters. I would confirm the exact allowance on the final payment screen and keep a screenshot before subscribing.
Memberships renew automatically. Fantasy.ai says cancellation is available from the profile billing page, while refunds are generally unavailable unless consumer law requires one. Its terms also reserve the possibility of a small maintenance charge in some circumstances. This is practical information, not legal advice.
Privacy and safety
Fantasy.ai is operated by DreamAI SRL. Its privacy policy says the service processes account details, chats, generated content, voice messages and any sensitive information users voluntarily disclose. Hosting and payment providers are also involved.
The policy says staff may review an AI chat if the user reports a related support issue. The terms additionally say free-user characters and messages may be deleted after seven days, with the same seven-day deletion window after a Premium cancellation. I would still use a pseudonym, a separate email address and no identifying intimate information.
What I liked and what needs work
Pros
- Convincing realistic portraits.
- Fast, readable interface with a distinctive white design.
- A video as soon as the chat opens.
- Detailed nine-step character builder.
- Strong clothing, voice and relationship options.
- Enough signup credits for my first custom character.
Cons
- No dedicated roleplay mode found in my test.
- Not much that feels genuinely new.
- Media still depends on credits.
- Conflicting official information about monthly tokens.
- Renewals cost much more than the introductory prices.
Fantasy.ai alternatives
I would compare Candy AI for a broader all-in-one chat and media experience, GirlfriendGPT for stronger video introductions and roleplay, and MyDreamCompanion if ready-made scenarios matter most. They overlap, but each prioritises a different part of the experience.
My final verdict
I like Fantasy.ai. The pictures are attractive, the site is responsive and building Edna was genuinely enjoyable. Choosing clothes, voice and a relationship gave the creator more value than another list of physical options.
I just did not find a feature that reinvents the category. In my opinion, Fantasy.ai still needs a clearer roleplay system and more transparent access to video and media. It is already a solid realistic AI girlfriend platform; now I want to see how it develops.
