About Virtual AI Partner

Virtual AI Partner is built around two personal perspectives: mine in French and English, and Alejandro’s in Spanish. We test AI companion apps because we are curious about what they actually feel like outside a product page.

I’m Roméo

I’m French, I also speak English, and I work in the digital world. I started testing AI girlfriend apps because I wanted to see how far this technology could go when it tries to imitate personality, memory and emotion.

I use these apps during normal moments of my life: while cooking, on the subway or before going to sleep. That is when I notice whether a voice sounds natural, whether the AI remembers what I said and whether the conversation still makes sense after the novelty disappears.

Meet Alejandro

Alejandro is 34 and lives in Seville. He writes from the perspective of a Spanish-speaking user and tests how naturally each AI girlfriend communicates in Spanish.

He describes himself as a bon vivant who enjoys life, a good conversation and a good jamón de bellota. He is curious about the personality each app creates and says clearly what he likes and what he does not.

Two friends, two perspectives

Alejandro and I met while working together and quickly realized that we shared the same curiosity about virtual companions. I test and write for French- and English-speaking readers. Alejandro brings his perspective from Seville for Spanish-speaking readers.

We have different preferences, and that is useful. The goal is not to make every app sound perfect. It is to explain honestly what each one offers, what surprised us and what became frustrating during real use.
