I retested Xotic AI on September 30, 2026 with Alejandro and Maarten, and it no longer feels like quite the same product. The homepage is clearer, the UX makes more sense, and Xotic has added three prominent spaces: Worlds, Create, and Feed. I already saw it as a very NSFW-focused AI girlfriend; this update also makes it feel much more complete beside the established players.
My update in 30 seconds
Worlds is the update that matters most to me. I enjoy roleplay in AI girlfriend apps, and Xotic finally gives it a proper home instead of leaving it inside a plain chat. You choose a story, setting, cast and your own avatar. Create and Feed round it out, with the same very adult approach.
- UX: a more readable homepage and the new sections are easy to reach.
- Worlds: my favourite addition, built as a genuine roleplay mode.
- NSFW: images, video and the Feed are clearly for adults.
- Important: Worlds still stayed in English during our FR, ES and NL checks.
My early advice: take a look around and check your XOT balance before starting several generations.
When I first heard about Xotic AI, the same points came up again and again: a huge number of characters, relatively open conversations, and image generation that adds a genuinely immersive layer. It has always had a very adult side too.
On paper, that sounds like many AI companion platforms. In practice, the large character library and community layer make the experience more varied: I can jump between personalities, tones and scenarios instead of staying in one narrow chat loop.
Why I wanted to retest Xotic AI

What first intrigued me was the scale of the library. Some services give me a few dozen profiles; Xotic gives me hundreds. That changes how I explore it, especially when I want different styles of conversation or more narrative scenarios.
My first minutes on the platform
Signing up is quick, and the homepage gets me straight to the main experience. The new layout makes a difference: characters, their short descriptions and the new areas are easier to scan than before.
I started with several popular characters to see how they reacted. The replies were generally fluid, followed the context, and did not repeat themselves too much. I could keep things casual, take them into narrative roleplay, or make the interaction more immersive.
Worlds: roleplay finally gets its own real section
Worlds was my favourite part of this retest. Rather than opening a chat with no frame, I enter a story with a premise, setting, characters and my own avatar. I can browse realistic or anime scenarios and see the SFW or NSFW label at a glance.
Xotic says Worlds can be played alone or with friends. In our retest, I focused on browsing the worlds and the detail attached to each premise. It feels much closer to a structured roleplay than a simple character biography, and that is what makes Xotic competitive in this format now.
One language caveat: I checked French, Alejandro checked Spanish, and Maarten checked Dutch. The surrounding menus can be localised, but Worlds and its scenarios remained in English in all three checks. That is fine if you are comfortable reading English, but I would want to know it before paying for the feature.
Creating an AI girlfriend on Xotic AI: a gimmick or a real playground?
Character creation is still central to Xotic. Instead of selecting only an existing profile, I can define appearance, personality, backstory and the tone of the conversations. The clearer the context I give it, the more distinctive the result becomes.
I tried building my own AI girlfriend and used the creator to shape the starting scenario and appearance.
After that I could work on my AI’s personality and give her the name Adriana.

Conversation quality: does the AI hold up?
Chat quality still matters most. In my earlier and current sessions, Xotic generally kept the context across several messages and matched the character’s established tone. Like every service of this kind, it can become generic at times, but I found the overall roleplay quality solid.
Images and video: a simple extra or real immersion?
Image generation is now standard for AI companions. This time I also tried the newer image and video path; honestly, I did not manage to make it feel truly tame. Xotic is clearly built around NSFW generation, which is part of why it is already a reference for that audience.
I still keep the same reservation: quality can vary by character, model and request. But Create is easier to understand now because it shows actions, duration, quality and XOT cost before I launch a generation.
Xotic AI’s social Feed: a strange idea or a genuinely good one?
I also tested the new Feed. It collects shareable images, videos, roleplay moments, stories, characters and Worlds. I understand its purpose much better now: it connects creation and discovery instead of being a throwaway gallery. The content is very clearly NSFW, though, so I would not open it at work or on public transport.
NSFW: how far does Xotic AI go?
Xotic AI is plainly more permissive than some mainstream apps. The chats are less filtered and roleplay can go further, even though Xotic still states that it has moderation rules. For people specifically looking for NSFW, that freedom is one of its strongest draws.
Pricing, XOT and video calls: what I checked
Xotic combines a subscription with XOT, its internal currency. Its FAQ says a free account gets five daily messages on the free model; media, voice and video calls, roleplay and Feed access require a subscription. It also says a subscription includes 1,000 XOT per billing cycle.
On September 30, 2026, the annual checkout showed Ultimate at €12.50 per month, billed at €149.99 per year, and Elite at €37.50 per month, billed at €449.99 per year. Both cards showed a 72% discount. I treat that as a temporary offer, not a permanent price, so I would always check the total, renewal cycle and date before paying.
I also saw that Xotic offers AI video calls. I have not tested them personally because I had run out of credits. Friends who tried them told me they were impressive, but I would rather point you to the feature than oversell it on second-hand feedback. I will test it next time.
Xotic AI compared with other AI girlfriends
What separates Xotic most is its character library, community Feed and freedom of conversation. I would compare it with Candy AI for an NSFW AI girlfriend experience, and with OurDream AI if you want another visual platform with creation and a Feed. They are useful alternatives, not identical copies.
My verdict after retesting Xotic AI
I think Xotic has genuinely stepped up. The homepage is nicer to use, Create makes its creative tools clearer and Feed gives the product a community dimension. Worlds changes my view the most: it now has a real roleplay identity.
If you want NSFW, Xotic remains a very unapologetic option. If you mainly want roleplay in your own language, remember that Worlds is still English-only. And if video calls interest you, plan for XOT and check the price before jumping in; I do not have enough personal hands-on time to score that part yet.
