I already knew Swipey AI, but the platform I found in July 2026 has very little in common with the simple “Tinder for AI girlfriends” concept still described in many reviews.
Today, Swipey wants to be an adult social platform built around three types of profiles: characters created by the platform, verified creators offering AI versions of themselves, and fully customized companions.
On paper, it is genuinely appealing. The interface is modern, the characters look polished, and the creation process immediately makes you want to see the result.
But let me warn you straight away: the free experience is short. Very short.
I created my own character, tested the chat, checked the mobile interface, explored verified models, the gallery, account settings, and the current prices. My opinion can be summarized in one sentence:
Swipey AI makes an excellent first impression, but the free version closes the door at the exact moment the experience starts becoming interesting.
| Criterion | My opinion | Score |
|---|---|---|
| Chat quality | Fast and coherent, but five messages are not enough to judge depth | 7.5/10 |
| Customization | Visual, progressive, and detailed enough | 8.8/10 |
| Interface | Modern, sexy, and pleasant on desktop and mobile | 8.7/10 |
| Value for money | Difficult to judge without paying, with a very aggressive paywall | 6.2/10 |
| Privacy | Accessible controls and account deletion, but personal data still requires caution | 7/10 |
| Editorial score | A promising platform held back by an overly limited free version | 8/10 |
Why I Wanted to Test Swipey AI Again
Swipey regularly appears in AI girlfriend comparisons, but I quickly realized that many articles still describe its older swipe-based interface.
That is no longer the right way to present the platform.
The current homepage feels more like a mix between a dating app, a social network, and a creator platform. You can browse public characters, view hot posts, discover “Real Beauties,” or build your own AI.

This change matters because it gives Swipey a slightly different identity from Candy AI, Lovescape, or Nomi. Everything encourages you to explore profiles, pictures, and scenarios before you even start chatting.
Visually, it works.
My First Few Minutes on Swipey
The first thing I noticed was the quality of the interface. Swipey uses plenty of black, purple, and pink, but everything remains readable. Despite the amount of content on screen, I never had to hunt around to understand where to click.
The main navigation provides direct access to the feed, chats, character creation, gallery, and the “My AI” area. On mobile, it becomes a bottom navigation bar that feels much closer to a native application.
I tested the website at a real mobile viewport of 390 × 844 pixels. The catalog remained easy to browse and the chat worked properly in full-screen mode.

Swipey also manages to create a strongly adult atmosphere without turning the entire homepage into a wall of explicit content. The profiles are obviously sexualized and some descriptions are extremely direct, but the interface still looks reasonably premium.
The element that quickly damages this first impression is monetization. The subscription button, heart balance, and promotional offers remain visible almost everywhere. You understand very quickly that the free part will not last.
Three Types of Characters
Swipey now organizes the experience around three main categories.
The first consists of platform characters. These are fictional profiles that are ready to chat, with a picture, age, tags, and an introductory scenario. I used one of these profiles for my five-message free chat test.
The second category is called “Real Beauties.” Swipey presents verified creators with AI-powered versions of their personalities and exclusive content.

This concept is interesting because it brings Swipey closer to a fan platform than a conventional chatbot. According to Swipey’s official creator documentation, verified creators can earn through subscriptions, tips, and paid media.
The third option is building a completely custom AI. Naturally, this was the feature I most wanted to test.
Creating My AI Girlfriend on Swipey
Character creation is one of Swipey’s strongest features.
The process moves forward one step at a time instead of throwing fifty controls onto the same page. I first selected a realistic style, then chose the general appearance, age, body type, chest size, hair, and eyes.
Swipey then lets you choose a personality, profession, and voice. The final summary clearly displays the selected characteristics before generation.

I created Franziska, a 22-year-old nurse with a mature personality. Generating her cost 15 of the free hearts provided after registration.
The visual result was convincing and reasonably faithful to the options I had selected.

This is also where Swipey genuinely frustrated me.
After spending 15 hearts to create Franziska, I clicked the button to begin the conversation. Instead of opening the chat, Swipey immediately displayed the Premium offer.
In other words, you can spend your free currency creating a character, but you cannot actually begin a relationship with her without subscribing.
That feels unnecessarily frustrating. The creator is good enough to make you want to chat, and then the product blocks the exact step you wanted to test.
Free Chat: Enjoyable but Limited to Five Messages
To test the conversation without paying, I returned to Sasha, one of the public characters displayed on the homepage.
The chat starts with a prepared scenario. Sasha is standing in a kitchen and asks me to help her make breakfast. This visual context gets the roleplay moving immediately, without the usual “Hello, how are you?” introduction.
I asked what she was cooking. Her answer arrived quickly, stayed consistent with the scene, and naturally moved the conversation forward by inviting me to help.

Across the small number of messages available, the tone remained fluid and the character did more than provide short, passive replies. There was enough detail to keep the scenario progressing.
But after my fifth message, Swipey automatically opened the Premium screen.
That matches the limit stated in Swipey’s terms. It is enough to confirm that the chat works, but nowhere near enough to evaluate its long-term quality.
I can say that the first answers are fast and contextual. I will not pretend that I evaluated long-term memory with five messages, because that would be completely artificial.
During this sequence, the visible account balance also dropped from two hearts to one without a clear confirmation identifying which action used the currency. It is not a financial disaster, obviously, but it illustrates how unclear the internal economy can feel.
Can Swipey’s Memory Really Be Judged?
Not with the free version.
Several competing reviews give Swipey’s memory a precise score. Some describe it as acceptable, while others report weak continuity between sessions. The problem is that many tested an older version or fail to explain how long the evaluation lasted.
With a five-message limit, I cannot verify whether Sasha remembers a preference several days later, keeps a complex scenario consistent, or maintains her personality across long conversations.
I would rather leave memory unscored than invent a level of precision my test cannot support.
What I observed is simpler: immediate continuity was good. Sasha understood the kitchen context and responded logically. A meaningful memory test would require Premium access over several days.
Images, Voice, and Video
Swipey heavily promotes images, voice calls, and video content. These options are visible in the interface and in the Premium offers.
The gallery stores media connected to characters, while the chat interface displays controls for pictures, voice, and additional interactions.

However, I did not pay for a subscription, so I will not rate features I did not genuinely use.
Some competing reviews describe the avatars and voices as convincing. Others claim that the videos are mainly prepared clips rather than true on-demand generation. Swipey promotes videos and rewards, but the free experience does not make the distinction perfectly clear.
My conclusion is therefore deliberately cautious:
- the character visuals are attractive;
- my generated character matched the selected options reasonably well;
- media features are clearly part of the Premium experience;
- generated image quality, voice, and video still require a proper paid test.
Relationship Progression and the My AI Area
Swipey does not want its characters to feel like disposable chats. The “My AI” section displays progression through levels, with a point target before the next stage is unlocked.

It is a good idea because it creates a sense of development and gives users a reason to return. Swipey advertises ten relationship levels, moving from a first encounter toward a much more intimate connection.
In practice, daily streaks and several rewards are connected to Premium. Progression therefore feels as much like an engagement mechanic as a genuine measure of relationship depth.
That is not necessarily bad. Many applications use similar systems. But you should understand that Swipey constantly mixes virtual relationships, gamification, and heart consumption.
Is Swipey AI Really Free?
Technically, yes. I would describe the free tier as a demonstration rather than a usable long-term plan.
It lets you:
- create an account;
- browse platform characters and verified creators;
- send five messages to a public character;
- use the welcome hearts to generate a custom AI;
- explore the interface, gallery, and account controls.
It did not let me:
- chat with the custom character I had just created;
- test memory for a meaningful amount of time;
- properly evaluate voice calls;
- generate enough images to assess consistency;
- confirm exactly how the video feature works;
- use the complete relationship progression.
That distinction matters. Swipey is free to try, but not genuinely free to use.
Swipey AI Pricing
During my test, the Premium screen displayed three plans:
| Duration | Displayed price | Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| 1 month | €0.67 per day | 200 hearts |
| 3 months | €0.53 per day | 200 hearts |
| 12 months | €0.27 per day | 600 hearts |

I do not particularly like this daily-price presentation. It makes the offer look psychologically cheaper without immediately showing the total amount that will be charged.
Before paying, always verify the final total, commitment period, and renewal conditions.
Swipey’s terms state that purchases are final and non-refundable. Subscriptions can be cancelled through the account or by contacting support, with access remaining active until the end of the paid period.
You also need to watch your heart balance even after subscribing. Hearts are used for certain interactions and content, which means the subscription price may not tell the whole story.
Privacy and Account Deletion
Swipey itself advises users not to share sensitive information in conversations, including contact details, addresses, financial information, or passwords. I repeat that advice for every AI girlfriend platform.
The terms say that chats and prompts are visible inside the private account. They also grant the company a broad license over submitted content, although that license can generally end after deleting the content or account, subject to certain exceptions.
The positive point is that the “Delete profile” option is easy to find in the settings.

I would still use a dedicated email address and a pseudonym, and never tell an AI anything I would not want stored on someone else’s server.
What I Liked
- One of the most attractive interfaces I have tested recently.
- A mobile version that genuinely works well.
- Character creation that is simple without feeling superficial.
- Fast first chat responses that remain consistent with the scenario.
- An original mix of fictional characters and verified creators.
- An accessible account deletion option.
What I Liked Less
- Five free messages are nowhere near enough.
- The custom character costs hearts before revealing that her chat requires Premium.
- Subscription promotion is everywhere.
- Daily pricing makes the total cost less obvious.
- Heart consumption lacks transparency.
- Too many important features remain impossible to test for free.
Swipey AI vs Candy AI, Lovescape, and Secrets AI
Swipey probably has the best interface for users who enjoy browsing profiles in a social-network format. Its verified creator section also gives it an angle that Candy AI and Nomi do not approach in quite the same way.
Candy AI remains easier to understand if you primarily want a ready-made virtual girlfriend and a familiar companion experience.
Lovescape feels more convincing for flirting, NSFW roleplay, and visual creation, particularly if you want to use the platform seriously after registration.
Secrets AI offers a richer media experience with more control over image and video generation.
Swipey becomes interesting if you like the mix of a social feed, creator content, and virtual companionship. If your absolute priorities are memory, long conversations, or a generous free plan, it would not be my first choice.
My Verdict on Swipey AI
I liked Swipey, which is precisely why the free experience frustrated me.
The interface looks excellent and the mobile navigation works beautifully. Creating Franziska made me curious to see how her personality would translate into conversation. But after spending the hearts required to generate her, I encountered a paywall.
With Sasha, the first answers were promising. The chat understood the scenario, responded quickly, and moved forward naturally. Then, after the fifth message, another paywall appeared.
Swipey therefore understands how to make a strong first impression. What I cannot yet confirm is whether the experience has enough depth once the subscription is paid.
My provisional editorial score is 8/10. It rewards an excellent interface, meaningful customization, and an original concept. The score is held back by an overly short free experience, omnipresent monetization, and several essential features that I could not test without paying.
I recommend trying Swipey if its visual universe appeals to you and you are already considering a subscription. If you primarily want a free AI girlfriend or a long-term relationship built around memory, I would look elsewhere first.
Swipey AI FAQ
### Is Swipey AI free?
Swipey offers free access, but it mainly functions as a demonstration. During my test, the public-character chat ended after five messages, while chatting with my custom character required Premium.
### How much does Swipey AI cost?
During my test, Swipey displayed €0.67 per day for one month, €0.53 per day for three months, and €0.27 per day for twelve months. Always verify the total amount charged because prices and promotions can change.
### Can I create my own AI girlfriend?
Yes. Swipey lets you choose realistic or anime style, appearance, body type, hair, eyes, personality, profession, and voice. My custom character cost 15 free hearts.
### Why Couldn’t I Chat With My Custom Character?
During my free test, the button for starting a conversation with the generated character immediately opened the Premium offer.
### Does Swipey AI Allow NSFW Content?
Yes. Swipey positions itself as an adult platform and offers NSFW chat and images through Premium. That does not mean every kind of content is permitted.
### Does Swipey AI Have a Mobile App?
I did not find an application to install. Swipey runs directly in the browser, and its responsive mobile interface worked well during my test.

I cannot confirm that with the free version. Five messages are not enough to test medium- or long-term memory. Immediate continuity was fine, but a proper evaluation would require Premium access over several days.
### Can I Delete My Swipey Account?
Yes. A “Delete profile” option is available directly in the account settings.
### Is Swipey AI Worth It?
Swipey is worth trying for its interface, customization, and unusual mix of virtual characters and verified creators. However, it is difficult to enjoy the service meaningfully without a subscription.
